At about 11am, we joined YB Nizar on his walkabout.

First stop, a kindergarten.

Nizar’s a natural with the kids, as is also shown by the next photo

Downstairs from the kindergarten, I met Chew. He’s involved with an association that operates below the kindergarten.
He took me in to show me a series of pictures hanging on the wall in the asociation’s premises.

The pictures each represent a major faith. The one on the extreme left bears the name of Prophet Muhammad pbuh
Chew said that at the association, they advocated the goodness of all religions.
He then told me that the association was called Persatuan Meningkat Akhlak Malaysia ( which roughly translates as Malaysian Association to Improve Good Behavior ).
I suggested that he should send out brochures to UMNO as they were in desperate need of help in this department.
Sorry, I digress again.
Let me just share some of the shots I took as Nizar caught up with the voters, although I have to say they do not quite capture the warmth with which he was received.

In the local balai polis

YB Nizar finished his walkabout around 12.30pm and announced that he had to be elsewhere shortly.
The bloggers handed a gift to him. He looked it over, enquired what this was about and, after I had explained, he readily obliged us.

Most people I spoke to said they would vote Nizar not because they despised BN, but because they liked the man.
And they were no longer afraid of PAS like they once were.
Here are photos to back this.

It’s become quite normal these days to see these giant PAS flags. But what’s holding this one up?

The flag’s being supported by this chinese restaurant at the back. Symbolic, isn’t it, of how thing’s have changed?
It was pretty hot out there today.
